Engineer}/GB.1/DH.{D. Henderson - Showroom} 18.12.43. CAR SUSPENSION. For the Myth rear springs we shall require either interleaving or lubrication plus gaiters because interleaving without gaiters is not sufficiently durable. Leather gaiters are very expensive. Pressed steel gaiters are only cheap when ordered in large quantities. An alternative would be proofed fabric gaiters. Mr. Booth of the Failsworth Hat Company, Manchester, will make a set of gaiters and give a quotation if we provide him with a drawing. Ev{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}/JD{J. Draper - Frames} will try to prepare drawings for B.V. & Myth spring gaiters in readiness for Mr. Booth's next call in the first week in the new year. G.B. EJH/GB. | ||
