Dear Sirs,

Replying to your letter of the 17th inst. as far as my information goes, if your enquiry refers to oil tempered wire for Valve Springs, there are two firms in this Country who hold the sole right, namely,

The Lion Spring Co. of Oldbury

and

The Tempered Spring Co. of Burton Weir Works, Sheffield.

For wire for other purposes, I understand the Agent is:-
