DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}7/CB28.6.20. PETROL TANK. X.4159. RE GAUGE ON TANK SHEWING AMOUNT OF PETROL PRESENT. Replying to your BY2/P28.6.20 we will go into the question of providing a Simms gauge which will read the quantity of petrol as accurately as this kind of gauge can. We certainly have never received any intimation that it was proposed to use this gauge for "Octroi" purposes, or that the request had first come from France. Would SN{Mr Sanderson} see if he can get us a copy of the regulatims say of the Octroi de Paris. DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} | ||
