We understand from BY/RD. that he has received from one or the other of the above Departments reports of several failures of battery ignition on chassis due to - (a) Lever seizing on pivot. (b) Breakages of springs. It would be of value to us in connection with improvement of this unit to have detailed particulars of these failures. Will you please let us have these as soon as possible as I am in communication with R.{Sir Henry Royce} regarding an new and improved design of this unit. EFC | ||
