Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}'s new car to have automatically controlled dampers. MINUTE 13. FURTHER MATERIAL for 20/25. Silent Second Speed.......... Improved Shock Dampers...... Luvax Lubrication system. Axle Control. Radiator Shutters, of drawn section. Frames....................... AERO MINUTE 22. CRANKSHAFTS IN V.C.M. STEEL. MINUTE 23. 2 ENGINES TO RUN AT 1000 H.P. COOLING SYSTEM WARNING DEVICE. LATEST POSITION AT 29.3.33. In abeyance. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}3/MJ.25.3.33. states "These parts are being made and we expect to have them completed in ten or 14 days." At 126th chassis in 'U2' Series and 51st in 'Z' Series. Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} notified. (Going into this item as per Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}15/W27.3.33.) To be fitted when car is returned from Coachbuilders. Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} notified. 126th on 'U2' & 51st in 'Z'. -do- Coming in on 'Z' (20/25) Series. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}4/MJ.24.3.33. Samples received but unsatisfactory. Finish very poor. RMC. correcting & preparing a set for a radiator. Take up with Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} 1/4/33. Still under discussion. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} says both engines have been run & the job will be finished by next week. Lr.{Mr Ellor} states "continually worrying R.D. to accept the warning lamp for their cooling systems." | ||
