With further reference to the sample C.45.PV 4½" dia. Dynamo which we are making up for you in such a form that it interchanges with your present 5" dia. machine. This of course is for the experimental machine only so that it can readily be tested in place of your present larger dynamo. As you know, it was arranged that you would kindly provide the special driving end and commutator end brackets, and we are therefore enclosing herewith machining and casting drawings of the driving end and commutator end brackets. These drawings respectively are END.1114/2, END.1114/1, END.1114/4 and END.1114/3. A number of the dimensions we have taken from the actual sample brackets you sent us, and before putting in hand the patterns perhaps you will be good enough to check up our drawings in so far as they line up with the dimensions of your brackets for the 5" diameter machine, just to ensure that everything we have taken from the samples is correct. If you have any point of comment when checking through the drawings, perhaps you will be good enough to let us know at an early date. One point regarding the pulley which you are arranging to supply, is that you will have to make an alteration to the recess on the vane side of this unit where it butts up to the nose of the driving end bracket.
