BIRMINGHAM.

Dear Daniell,

We have now received a quotation of 125 dollars for the Salisbury axle which has been specially produced for us in the States, but we still have no information as to the price at which you expect to be able to supply this axle, estimating material costs as at present.

We should be glad to have this figure before we get involved too far testing the axle.

We would also be interested in the state of the forged to size rods.

Yours sincerely,
