THE STREAMLINE BENTLEY
“Good News Indeed”

[48576.]—It is good news indeed that a British motor car manufacturer so eminent as Bentley Motors, Ltd., has appreciated the lead which Continental car designers have given us in the design of high-speed economical motor cars.
The Bentley illustrated in your photogravure section will be welcomed by all who felt that British car design had somehow gone off the rails in 1932 or thereabouts. Once more we may feel satisfied that England is producing an up-to-date high-speed touring car not ashamed to say, “I am designed for fast travel and I travel fast,” as opposed to “I can’t go as fast as many others because I’m still trying to look like a beautiful stage coach.” R.{Sir Henry Royce} DE YARBURGH-BATESON.
