Carburetter and petrol system. | Nil | 1 |
Rubber Joints. | Nil. | 5 | There has been a certain amount of trouble with rubber joints which have not been properly vulcanised. Tests are being made with an improved type of clip.
Lubrication pressure. | Nil. | 1 |
Tappet springs. | Nil. | 4 | The material for the tappet springs has been changed from carbon steel to chrome vanadium. Tests have proved that the new springs are entirely satisfactory.
Accelerator pedal sticking.| 2 | Nil. |
Pre-ignition. | Nil. | 5 | We are making further enquiries about this because there is no reason why this fault should exist.
Steering stiff. | 7 | 1 | New steering standardised.
Dynamo. | 1 | 2 |
Failure of ball brgs. in front wheels. | Nil. | 3 | It has been proved that these failures are due to insufficient lubrication. All Depots have been advised re. this.
