L 1305 Rn{Mr Robinson}/Clm.{D. D. Clapham}10/JH. 17th. April, 1940. Messrs. Ferodo Ltd., Chapel-en-le-Frith. Your ref.WES/ET. Dear Sirs, With reference to your letter of the 10th. instant, we find that we can make up a test set of plain board from the pieces of bakelised board which we have in our possession and will do so. We quite appreciate that there must be some delay in delivering the test set of S.9992. We look forward to hearing that the sliding rig has been modified, and we should like to come over and see it in operation. Also we do not feel that we can decide on future interleaving tests until we have got some definite figures as to the coefficient of friction of the various materials. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. | ||
