Y3805. PN.{Mr Northey}2/WT8.4.31 S/W. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}..from PN.{Mr Northey} Copy to Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} I have arranged with Jack Barclay to-day to be available on Monday morning with his 8-litre Bentley. He will drive me down to Brooklands in this car at the time we decide to meet you there in connection with the tests of 26-EX etc. Barclay states that he ran up to a speed of 102 m.p.h. yesterday when driving up from Folkestone, but he does not wish to run the car much around Brooklands on speed-work until it is a bit more run-in. We should however be able to achieve the relative tests we want. If you find that you have to alter the date from Monday please let me know as early as possible in order that I can let Barclay know.
