X8651 To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} from EFC. c. BY/RD. EFC2/T20.11.24. X.8651. PUSH BUTTON SWITCH. We return to you EAC. push button switch B. The gaps and limits decided upon for this type of switch are as follows :- Position. Carbone Gap. Copper Gap. Button depression. Off. .063+12 -13 .090"+15 -15 0 Carbons in contact. 0 .040"+5 -5 .029"+6 -6 Coppers in contact. 0 0 .052"+9 -9 These figures will be useful for future reference in the setting of the switch. On this particular switch, the carbon contacts need adjusting so as to meet earlier. It has also been noticed that one of the side stops comes into operation before the other, resulting in the lever tilting sideways slightly, after coming into contact with the earlier stop. EFC. | ||
