Dear Sirs,

We are in receipt of your esteemed enquiry of the 12th inst., and you are quite right in stating that "Richmond" would be the best resistance wire to use for the purpose you have in view. The 10ft length which you mention suitable for 200 volts does not quite give us the necessary information to quote you on the form of heater which you desire, as you do not give us either the mass or the material, or the total watts that you think would be necessary to give you a temperature of 900°C.

With our patented form of heating coil we have very little doubt that we could make what you require in that our construction enables a very great strip ^length of^ wire to be condensed into a small space. We would suggest that the writer of your letter give us a call on the telephone to-morrow morning about 10-30 when perhaps you would give us a little more information, or we could arrange for the writer to call over and see you one day next week.

Yours faithfully,
For The Arora Co.,
[Signature] F.{Mr Friese} S. Grogan.

[Handwritten in left margin]: a 10' length comes probably for the fire bricks. The wire ends are very small.
