Broken Front Springs. | W. 15. N. 3. P. - total 20. | W. 1. Last qtr's N. - P. - total 17. | When the front springs break we invariably fit stronger springs. Early specification for 20 HP. springs was too light.

Noisy Tappets. (Handwritten: Trouble should not occur before a large mileage has been completed.) | W. - N. - P. - total 17. | W.16. Last qtr's N. 1. P. - total 20. | The greatest number of complaints are caused by wear on the pins or the rollers. The smallest amount of wear here makes it impossible to get quiet tappets. The trouble is generally overcome by supplying new pins and rollers.
