A new oiling device has been introduced which we hope will prove a cure. We adopt on all engines when they are dismantled. Steering wobbles. Handwritten below: Improved steering geometry is a definite improvement for joggles and snatching; should be pushed forward for standardization. Strong S.S tube springs can be used with this pattern, and would help wobbles and steering control. W. 2. N. 2. P. - W.10. Last qtr's N.14. qtr's P. 2. total 30. 42. We are successfully dealing with the low speed wobble by fitting the spring loaded cross steering tube in most cases. We do, however, still get a small percentage of complaints due to steering joggles and snatching, which the spring loaded cross steering tube does not overcome. For cases of critical owners we would recommend a changeover of steering is provided, such as the one fitted to chassis CMK-43 - Flather. We have on record cases of customers disposing of their cars on account of our inability to overcome complaints of steering joggles. | ||
