GENERAL DEVELOPMENT WORK.

Now that the development work on the Wraith is gradually diminishing it is necessary to alter the allocation of the various experimental cars to make the best use of the existing organisation.

Will you please arrange for 1.B.50 to be handed over to Whyman for general development work, and at the same time he will also retain 25.G. and 29.G.

The remaining Wraiths will revert to the list of general cars under your supervision for mileage, etc.

As 8.B.V. is the 15,000 mile car, when it has reached the stage where it is free from coachwork problems, etc. it will be Waller's responsibility to make sure that it conforms to the right specification. We should be glad, however, if you would work with him on the car.

We are particularly anxious to have a complete weight analysis of this car so that we can see where our increases are coming from.

We should continue to get such mileages as we can on 6.B. and use it for general transport work.

RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} is going on holiday on Thursday or Friday, and we have agreed to lend him a car. We should like him to have 24.G. or 28.G.

We have promised to hand 26.G. over to Sales for preparation as a Trials car. We should make every effort to hand it over to them as soon as possible after the new engine unit is fitted.
