1300 To Ey from Wym.{G. Harold Whyman - Experimental Manager} c. to Bv/SD. c. to Wym{G. Harold Whyman - Experimental Manager}/S.Sec. c. to Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Wym.{G. Harold Whyman - Experimental Manager} 3/OH. 23.12.43. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} is a little disturbed that we are not proposing to make any 4.825" Pendulum Levers, because no dies exist which can be modified. Now that we have permission to proceed with prototype chassis we could now have the dies sunk to the correct design of a 4.825" Lever. Will you therefore, please arrange to issue Design Details for a modified 4.825" Lever, so that when completed they can be fitted to the chassis which originally had this length of Lever i.e., 12.B.V. and 3.B.50. As originally fitted to the afore mentioned two vehicles the angle between bosses in both cases was 10° - 11° but the Serration Settings were 1° 42' for 12.B.V. and 1° 38' for 3.B.50. Wym.{G.
