Chassis 119-GN.

An alteration in thickness of the exhaust pipe and/or the primary expansion chamber would have the effect of shifting the period at which the noise occurs, and so possibly alleviate it; also if the primary expansion chamber were eliminated and an even bend taken into the main silencer, we believe it would be found a perfect cure.

Needless to say we ourselves will not rest until the job is properly settled.

Yours faithfully,

(Sgd.) W.J. Morrison,

Engineer.
