10,000 MILES TEST ON 20 HP. IN FRANCE

The 10,000 miles test on the 20 HP. car is completed and the car will shortly be returning.

It was found at the completion of the test that the flange on the bottom of the steering column was cracked. This flange was temporarily instructed to be made in brazing metal. On production a drop forging will be used.

We anticipated that the flange would fail from the results on the bumping rig. This once again confirms the reliability of the bumping rig to reproduce extreme road conditions in a short period.
