B.III. VALVE TIMING.

The valve timing markings on the B.III. flywheel (EB.3241) are so close to the TDC. mark, I.O. ½° and E.C. 1½° that it makes a confusion of markings and we would recommend that the single TDC. marking be used for the I.O. and E.C. positions also.

Practical checking of valve timing shows that this varies considerably more than the amount we propose to alter it on engines.
