S/W. To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} [Stamped: RECEIVED 17 JUL 1930] [Handwritten: X7941d. X79419. x7260] Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}9/D16.7.30. Re: 24-EX. in France. -------------------- Would you please let me know what sort of a bonnet it is from the point of view of ventilation? When Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} was with me the other day I distinctly understood him to say that it had 2 shutter ventilators on each side, i.e. 4, and that the test was being run in hot weather with them open. On the other hand, Whr.{Mr Wheeler} has a note from BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} definitely saying that this is a plain bonnet, by which I understand him to mean a bonnet without shutter ventilators or louvres. Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} | ||
