X728 To Lp.{Mr Lappin} from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c. to Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}9/KT.11.4.33. HALFORD - AUTOMATIC TAPPETS. It is probable that we shall adopt automatic tappets, at least on car engines. The scheme we propose to use means that we shall have to pay a royalty to General Motors. We see no reason why Halford should not send us particulars of his scheme if he is prepared to let us have it under royalty. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
