We have been through the list of electrical units for Ripplet 1 H -11, and we find that, to prevent holding up work on the car, should there be delay in obtaining units from the Makers, we can in certain cases, either provide a spare unit or suggest a way out.

The following units can be dealt with in this manner:-

Speedometer. A temporary instrument with a suitable calibration can be provided.

Speed. Drive. A spare can be provided.

Ammeter. A temporary instrument can be provided, or an attempt made to obtain suitable instruments from the Western Co.,

Petrol Gauge. A meter with 16 gall. scale, but without oil-level scale, and Tank unit, for BV production, can be supplied as temporary instruments.

Oil Gauge and Thermometer. A spare can be provided.

Switches. Escutcheons to DW.985. might be made and engraved in the shop. M.R.L. type switches can be supplied in place of DW.987 and DB.{Donald Bastow - Suspensions}2393.
