RUBBRA, Arthur Alexander.

Date of birth :- 29th. Oct. 1903.

Education :- Northampton School 1915 to 1922.
Left form U.6 - Prefect.

University work :- Entered Faculty of Engineering of the University of Bristol in Sept. 1922. with a Northampton County Scholarship and a Merchant Venturers' Scholarship.

Practical experience in laboratories and workshops for Degree of B.Sc. One year's research on Errors of Watson Dalby Indicator as applied to high speed Internal Combustion Engines.
Responsible for design and supervision of details for engine.

Works Experience :- Three months with Messrs. Humber Ltd., in Tool Room.

Salary :- Recommended for Industrial Bursary awarded by the Royal Commissioners for the Exhibition of 1851 - hence salary need only be nominal - say - £25 per annum.

Could start July 13th. 1925, or earlier if required.
