Messrs.K.L.G.Sparking plugs Ltd.,
Robinhood Engineering Works,
Putney Vale,
London, S.W.15.

For the attention of Major C.M.Carington.

Dear Sir,

We are anxious to try out a quantity of the new Bentley 14 mm type 850 plugs fitted with the new platinum electrodes, on a 40/50 engine.

These plugs would be required to be supplied to us with a knurled terminal nut and washer identical to the sample enclosed herewith, in lieu of the usual spring clip usually supplied.

Will you therefore put in hand for us as quickly as possible a sample batch of 24 plugs for test.

As we want to make a decision regarding plugs for this engine as soon as possible we hope you will do all you can to expedite delivery.

We should also like you to forward us a designation type No. for these plugs for our records in order to avoid confusion.

You will be interested to know that all the plugs we have with the new Platinum electrodes, are continuing to function satisfactorily.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
