W.A. Robotham, Esq.,
Messrs. Rolls-Royce Limited,
Derby.

Dear Mr. Robotham,

In accordance with your request, I have to-day despatched eight type K.1/859 plugs to Mr. Hancock in France. These are similar to the standard K.1 plug, with the exception that a slight modification has been made in order to cover the part of the copper sleeve on the central electrode which is exposed in the standard design.

I shall be very interested indeed if you will let me know what sort of a report Mr. Hancock gives on these plugs.

Yours truly,
