The Dunlop Rubber Co.Ltd.

Mr.Bond, Technical Advisory Manager of the Dunlop Rubber Co.Ltd. and Reduced, has written confirming a suggestion which was discussed when the deputation from this Works visited the Dunlop Co's Works on the 15th ult. that he would be pleased to give an address to the principal members of our Staff on the subject of:-

Balloon Tyres in general and the Dunlop programme in particular

If it is thought that such an address would be useful to them. If, as he understands, the suggestion is likely to meet with our approval, he leaves it to us to advise him (Mr.Bond) of a time and date which would be convenient.

The letter has been submitted to Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} who has replied that personally he would be very interested to hear the address, and if By, Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}, EP.{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} and Hm.{Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs} think that any useful purpose would accrue from such an address, he would agree that the chiefs might have this address at any time in one of our offices or in the Messroom.

Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} has asked me to get some expression of opinion as to the value of such an address, which is the reason for this note.

I hope that each one concerned will reply to me as promptly as possible.

Wd.{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead}
