SPRING GAITERS.

The reason Wefco Gaiters were chosen as standard was because in the opinion of the Expl: Dept., the Test Dept., and EY. they were the most satisfactory. We do not agree with the criticisms from Sales Dept.

We knew the Jeavons Gaiter quite well at the time we standardised the Wefco. We had fitted a number of sets.
At the time we standardised the Wefco Gaiters, the following were our reasons for preferring them to the "Jeavons".

1. We had been dealing with the Wefco Co. for two years and we had found them excellent people to deal with. They dealt with all orders promptly and replaced and altered any Gaiters without question. They are always ready to send immediately to the Works should we have any trouble.
We have also fitted a number of sets of "Jeavons" - we have not received anything-like the attention and they are inclined to quibble over complaints.

2. When fitted to the car, the Wefco is a neater job than the Jeavons. This is judged on a number of average sets, and not on special show sets.

3. The exposed eyelets and laces on the Jeavons are untidy and become clogged with mud and grease after the car has been run a short distance. It is impossible to clean them and if rag or a spong is used, they are torn to pieces by the eyelets.

4. The lubricator on the Jeavons, we consider is no better than the Wefco. The Wefco people have offered to fit any type of lubricator we agree to chose. We have recently decided to use the Enots Lubricator.

We do not consider there is any advantage e in the wick used on the Jeavons compared with the felt on the Wefco.

We consider that as regards appearance and efficiency, the Wefco is better than the Jeavons with which we have had experience.
