COPY. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} from Its. S/W - Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} GRY{Shadwell Grylls}- C8/C.27.1.37. 1204 I think you might be interested to know that during 1936 and the 3 weeks of this year we have sold in America 20 Phantom III's to U.S.A. and 4 to Canada. During the same period we have sold 6 25/30's and 5 Bentley's in the United States and 1 of each in Canada. So that in roughly a year 37 Rolls-Royce and Bentley cars or chassis have been sold - this during a time when the Sales organisation there was at a very low ebb, as you know, owing to the final winding up of the American Company and subsequent taking over in quite a small way of the agency by Inskip. I thought you might be interested, as it shows there is still a small market, but a very useful one, for expensive cars. C. | ||
