CONTINUATION 1.

Messrs. Rolls Royce Ltd.

discharge has been less good than the average of others, we suggest that probably the others were of the high discharge thin multiplate type which is so generally assumed to be best for starting and would in consequence probably be offered to you.

The thin multiplate battery will undoubtedly give better results at the high discharge and if you would care to test one of our make we would only be too pleased to send you one for experiment.

Should you decide to try one, would you please say whether you prefer ribbed wooden separators or corrugated and perforated ebonite.

We find that our customer's views vary so much on this point and as there is so much to be said for and against each type, we generally leave the choice to them.

The ebonite separators are much more expensive than the wood.

Assuring you of our desire to assist, and much appreciating the thorough manner in which you have written us.

Yours faithfully,

PETO & RADFORD.
