x560 To Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} from Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}22/KW.11.6.36. In reply to your telephone conversation - 32-EX. The testers were given the Whitsuntide holiday. You will see that the car is again doing daily mileage. Incidentally they have had a reproduction of the clutch failures experienced on 34-EX, and we have sent one of the latest type plates over to them which they will have to fit. GLG-5. This car should be on the road to-morrow. We have fitted the new steering and want to give this some running to ensure it is alright. We hope to deliver the car on Monday or Tuesday of next week.
