S. Smith & Sons advise that the original design is subject to various modifications, following a discussion with Mr. Davis and Mr. West of these Works. To avoid any possibility of misunderstanding as to what we do require, they have detailed a scheme as they now understand it by Prints Y.42488 and Y.42488 Tank Attachment - originals attached (to E). Will you kindly confirm that their understanding of what is required is correct or otherwise.
