Modifications to the specifications for B.60 and B.80 engine units.

B.60 & B.80 UNITS.

Will you please include the following modifications in the specification for B.80 Nos. 5 and 6.

(1) Modified distributor spring drive to ECD.1342 which incorporates:-

(a) Increased clearance of drive in housing to prevent fouling.

(b) Shorter drive to prevent oil building in the drive.

(c) Coupling sleeve which is common to 60 and 80 engines.

(2) Modification to petrol pump eccentric and push rod to ECD.1257 in endeavour to reduce wear on the push rod hitherto experienced on the 60 engines.

Item (1) only should be included in the specification of B.80 Nos. 5 and 6 and not item (2) as the mechanical petrol pump on the B.80 is now deleted.
