-2- Work to be done. | Time. SHOP The alum. head to RS.{Sir Henry Royce's Secretary}315 to be removed, and modified to take 1.850" dia. inlet valves to RS.{Sir Henry Royce's Secretary}317, No.2. High Power Head which will have been deturbulated by now, should then be fitted. | Power and detonation tests. | 2 days. SHOP Remove modified No.2. Head, and re-fit alum. head with 1.850" valves. | Power tests and valve timing tests. | 4 days. The alum head should now be fitted to the large exhaust valve cylinder block. | Power and valve timing tests. | 4 days. Further work will be arranged later. It should be noted that this programme is to be interrupted when the valve timing spares are ready, and it is hoped that these will be made as soon as possible, as it would appear that the wear is upsetting results.
