Test breakdown. ② Repeat using mineral oil. ③ For sparking plugs, as above, and test for heat-resisting qualities, by placing on metal plate over gas flame. (all samples under comparison together) Then test breakdown. ④ Make up into plug and test on pro engine. ⑤ For commutators as 1, 2 + 3, and also test for uniformity of thickness with micrometer.
