Tappets running with silent tappet action deleted to be set at following clearances-

A.{Mr Adams} side - Inlets .004. Exhaust .006.
B. side - .010.

Silting after engine has settled down and is warm.

Following runnin in, borrow from G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} Ratcliffe (Suction Ignition Advance Unit) Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/CTS.{C. Trot Salt - Carburation} has carried out tests on Bentley and 25/30. and will give information when trying out on Phantom III.

On completion of above, endurance to be carried out under Bentley conditions with record of oil consumption.
