20 H.P. & 40/50 H.P. HIGHER OUTPUT ARMATURES.

As reported in our EFC5/T11.7.28, we received a 20 H.P. dynamo with higher output armature upon which we have done a limited number of tests before handing this over for the "India" chassis - i.e. sufficient to know that the expected change in the output characteristics was made.

In the case of the 40/50, we have not yet received the higher output armature for test.

We think you will agree that such armatures will be satisfactory from the point of view of meeting the demands of special customers who require the higher output at the safe higher speeds, and we think it would be sufficient for you to instruct a number of these armatures for both machines which you think would be reasonable to supply the demand. For the time being machines fitted with these armatures should be passed to us for test until we have sufficient information to put up a satisfactory Specification of Production Test for machines so fitted.
