RE U.3. AND E.H.T.2. RECTIFYING VALVES.

We have seen the G.E.C. letter of the 24th inst. with reference to this matter. What we are uncertain about is as to whether the E.H.T.2. valve can readily be placed in the rectifying unit which we have made, and we should be much obliged if they could give us an outline drawing of this valve showing the outside dimensions, and the type of cap or connections. If we can conveniently get it into the unit we have made, we shall then ask you to order one and accept credit for the new U.3. at present in our possession.

Also we should hope/in that case to have returned to us the old U.3. valve which we sent to them for examination, as we can still do something with this. In the meanwhile we are not using the new U.3. which they have sent.

EFC.
