THE GENERAL ELECTRIC CO.. LTD. -2- CONTINUATION No................... On receipt of the Valve at the Works it was submitted to the usual standard test, and found to be quite satisfactory, although slightly bowed the filament was quite clear of the annode, and during normal test showed little or no signs of shifting. Although this type of Valve is not designed for use on such high voltages as existing on spark coils it was submitted to a spark coil test. It was not possible to measure the exact voltage from the coil, but it was in the order of 10,000 volts. During this test, although there was a projectile display within the valve, there was no indication of the Filament touching the annode. If you desire to purchase the E.H.T.No.2 Valve mentioned above we will pass you credit for the U.3. in your possession on receipt of same here. Yours faithfully, FOR AND ON BEHALF OF THE GENERAL ELECTRIC CO LTD Branch Manager. | ||
