of difficulty. I would be glad if you could enlarge on this to confirm it or otherwise. It would be a great assistance in settling this question if you could let "Sales" try an example of a closed car with the sports engine at an early date either in London or when they are in Derby. (3) I have suggested that we are prepared to evolve a saloon body having a construction similar to that of the open bodies which we now have in hand, and that, if we can go ahead with the construction as soon as we have fixed on a suitable design, you will have a chassis available for it by the time it is completed. I also said that you are anxious to have a closed sports body for test purposes. This I would also be glad if you would confirm or deny. In view of the pending announcement, this matter is extremely urgent. It would be a great help if you could let me have a reply to the points raised to reach me at the latest by Tuesday evening so that I shall be able to take tha matter up again with Sales when I am in Town on Wednesday next. EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} We apologise for the poor print, which we hope will serve for the time being. | ||
