To Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} 1113 Kingsbury, May 31st, 1937. Phantom III - Under bonnet temperature. May I make a suggestion to reduce under bonnet temperatures. If it is possible to cut away to the minimum the flywheel and casing we should obtain a fan for drawing out the hot air from under the bonnet. The flywheel being the fan. In my opinion this would do more good than trying to give more air space under the dash and floor boards. At the same time it could not but help in clutch heat.
