PHANTOM 111 - MODIFIED ENGINE CONTROLS TO SUIT WRAITH 111. STEERING BOX ON PHANTOM 111.

Please receive herewith E.CD.644 Modified Controls for Wraith 111 Steering Box on Phantom 111.

These alterations are necessary owing to the revised position of the controls on the steering box, the revised steering box being shown on drawing F.CD.545 which has already been issued.

We shall be sending later a design of the alterations to the forward ignition control countershaft, which we have found necessary to make, in order to clear the side steering tube and undersheets.

Will you please instruct these alterations experimentally for fitting to chassis 39-EX, for the next 15,000 miles test run.
