IRON CASTINGS. X.5050 X.7050 X.8050

Many people seem to be adding nickel and chromium to iron castings to increase their strength, solidity, and resistance to wear.

I suggest we try this for our car cyl. castings if it is not prohibitively costly.

I believe it can be added in the ladle.

If we can get some cast iron say twice the tensile of ordinary good cast iron we might use more iron castings, for instance, the big masses of the flywheel.
