Dear Sirs, We wish to fit a Motorola wireless set model No.65 in a cabinet placed centrally at the back of a division in one of our cars. As the controls in the set are from the side when the set is looked at from the front, it is difficult for us to know where to put the control head, as the cabinet stands out in the rear compartment. We would be glad to know whether any ill effects would be experienced if we stood the set on end so that the controls came out of the top, thus enabling us to put the control head in the face of the cabinet above the set. Alternatively, we would be glad to know whether you have a model in which the controls are directly on the set, or more suitably disposed than those on the No.65 model, which we have already obtained from you for another car. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. Car Project Office. | ||
