PT. FROM DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} Copy to HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} ORIGINAL SECRET SS.{S. Smith} CROSS STEERING TUBE. X7425 / X3806 With reference to N. scheme 2797.. sent you on Sunday last, we did not shew the lubrica- tion from the Bijur system because from HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/RM{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}2/LG301128., we think we have not the latest information as to the way oil is carried to the pads. The method of connecting the ball end to the pipe on the lever by means of an annulus and a hole in the taper stem of the ball end is no doubt the same as now. We are not certain how the oil is carried out of the ball end on to the pads. Whatever you have found successful should be continued. DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} | ||
