We suggested a day or two ago that the trouble with the piston should be overcome by thickening the end wall 30%. We have since had the broken pieces sent to us, and on further examination it appears that it would be desirable to stiffen the end wall by increased radii into the piston barrel.
We have made N. sch. 2800. herewith shewing what we suggest.
