Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} To Nor. from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} re P.II.L.H. for Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}1/E4.7.30 Seen by BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} America and Home Production. You will remember that prior to my going to America we were discussing at Derby the question of the introduction on the English chassis of the special features which are on the L.H. chassis, other of course than those relating directly to the left-handing. Every one concerned appreciated the importance of this and BY was arranging to hold back the ordering of the material for a certain series as long as possible. The information which I had at that date from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} in regard to special points on the left handed chassis is now probably out of date because since it first went on its 10,000 mile test considerable alterations have been made. I think, therefore, it would be valuable if you would arrange for a list to be prepared setting out the items which come under this heading on L.R.P.II chassis which are not at present standard on the home P.II chassis with a view to ascertaining when they can be introduced on the latter.
