12-EX CAR.
NEXT CAR FOR 10,000 MILES IN FRANCE.

X7940
X7770

We expect to have this car running fitted with the new forging for the front axle and the modified machining by the end of this week.

We were proposing to send it direct to Sales for them to try before it goes to France.

If you wish to see the car again before it leaves, we will arrange that it goes to WW. either before or after Sales trial.

The alterations which have been made to the car since you last tried it are :-

(1) New front axle forging.
(2) Modified change gear mechanism fitted with C.H.N.S. shaft.
(3) Aluminium carburetter with duralumin throttle.
(4) Aluminium induction pipe and bend.
(5) Actuator box for starter with improved lubrication.
(6) Wearing plates at the rear of cantilever springs with modified serrations.
(7) Flexibility for servo obtained by plate springs instead of rubber buffer.
(8) Pistons for oil relay with metal rings instead of leather washer.
(9) New pedestal pistons to Lec. 2237.

We are rather anxious to get this car over to France before the Works holiday commences so that the test can be going on.
