Black-outs on RR cars due to fuses going. Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} referred to Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst.1/WA.{Mr Wallis}18.1.35. It was agreed that our normal scheme was not good as it was easy to break some of the fuse wires when tightening up the connection. HY.{Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer} said that this point has been improved on present production. It was agreed, however, that we should as quickly as possible go a step further and use the type of cartridge fuse suggested in the report referred to. On future cars E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} said that each lamp would have a separate fuse. Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} | ||
