contd:- -2- EAC.5. Our revised EAC.1. e.g. As EAC.4. but with open propeller shaft and 20 HP. type rear axle control. We are sending a copy of a more detailed list got out at Derby. EAC.1. has been completed in accordance with your instructions, principally to get an early test of the back axle control. The Works we understand are producing a number of EAC.2. chassis and a small number of so called speed models which so far as we can see are also EAC.2. EAC.3. is of course also in a state of production. re. EAC.4. GEARBOX. Regarding EAC.4. gearbox we expect to have a connected scheme ready in about 2 days, fit for printing, shewing the change mechanism. Re. SIDE LEVER GOSHAWK BOX. Mr. Rowledge and Mr. Hives paid us a visit last Tuesday the 8th.inst., and report of this has been sent to Mr. Johnson and yourself. This report states, regarding the side lever Goshawk box, that if necessary to re-design for 4 speeds it was anticipated the designs could be completed by the end of April if put in hand immediately after the EAC.4. box is completed, this latter being promised for the end of Feb.
